When my grandbaby first came home, I hardly got any sleep. Now, my she is sleeping through the night but I'm not. Here are some ways that helped me get some well-deserved rest.
- Lower the light level in your home and hour or two before you plan on going to bed.
- Limit the amount of caffeine you have after noon.
- Avoid drinking alcohol. It may cause you to have interrupted sleep.
- If you wake up in the middle of the night, try to go back to sleep without getting up or looking at the clock.
- Try not to skip your exercise routine.
